1 year free charging for free

Tesla's Model Y has been a bestseller for the American manufacturer for some time. Now sales are to be increased again at the end of the year. When you buy a new Model Y with delivery by December 31, 2024, you get a free year of charging in the Tesla Supercharger network on top. All new and first-time registered vehicles, including test vehicles, can benefit from the offer. Used cars and certified used cars are excluded.

The Model Y is even recently available as a seven-seater, so that there is enough space in the SUV even for larger families. The electric SUV is available in the Tesla configurator at a list price of 44,990 euros for the basic variant with rear-wheel drive. However, the free charging year can also be combined with other discounts such as Tesla's 6,000 euro environmental bonus for existing vehicles, so that the Model Y is available from as little as 39,970 euros.

The free use of the Superchargers is tied to the chassis number (VIN) and the specified driver. So the free year cannot be transferred to other people. After one year, the entitlement to free charging automatically expires. It is important to note that the free year is only available for delivery by December 31, 2024. Buyers should also actively refer to the offer before concluding the purchase contract and only sign it as soon as it has been confirmed in writing by the retailer.

Model Y facelift coming soon

In addition to the boost for Tesla's sales, the American manufacturer is certainly also concerned with emptying its inventories. After all, the facelift for the Model Y, called "Juniper", is imminent, and based on the prototypes sighted, we assume 2025 as the market launch date for the Model Y Juniper.
